Gov. Jay Nixon today appointed Aaron J. Martin, of California, Mo., as Associate Circuit Judge for Moniteau County. The appointment fills the vacancy created by the appointment of the Honorable Peggy Richardson as Circuit Judge.
Martin is a partner in the Jefferson City law firm of Martin & Grayson LLC and has been with the firm since 2006. He previously practiced in Morgan County. A native of Tipton, he obtained his law degree from the University of Missouri School of Law and his undergraduate degree from Culver-Stockton College. Martin currently serves as the president of the Jefferson City Breakfast Rotary Club.
“Aaron Martin’s experience and knowledge of the law will be valuable assets in serving the citizens of Moniteau County from the bench,” Gov. Nixon said. “I am pleased to appoint him as an Associate Circuit Judge.”
