The owners of expensive property stolen in a burglary offer a $10,000 reward for information that leads to the thieves and their property.
On the evening of Wednesday, June 1, burglars broke into a home and garage off Highway E in eastern Douglas County. They stole a significant amount of property, including: six ATVs, a John Deere Gator, a motorcycle, an American Pace 5×8 enclosed box trailer, batteries and chargers, pneumatic tools, power tools, battery tools, generator, air compressors, tool boxes with tools, guns and ammunition, complete collection of John Deere miniature collectibles, fishing and hunting equipment, camping equipment, variety of electronics, lawn maintenance equipment, variety of miscellaneous farm items and household goods. The burglars also damaged property at the home.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Department has been working with the Missouri State Highway Patrol and the sheriff’s departments in Howell, Wright, Texas and other counties.
