The funeral for a Missouri sheriff’s deputy killed in the line of duty this week will be held on Thursday, Sept. 13.

Deputy Aaron Paul Roberts died after his car washed away in flooding waters.

Roberts was 35 years old.

A public visitation will be held from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, with funeral services beginning at 2 p.m. at the Greenlawn Memorial Garden.

A Go Fund Me account set up in his honor has reached over $20,000.
