Course Description

This course will allow trainees to learn the characteristics, operation and maintenance of the MILO shooting simulator system.  Upon completion firearms instructors will be able to use the MILO System to incorporate Use of Force Decision Making Skills into their agency’s firearms training program.

Firearms instructors from Missouri Sheriffs’ Association Contracted Agencies who complete the MILO Instructor Course will be able to sign out the MSA MILO Simulator to conduct training at their local agency as scheduling permits.

This training qualifies for eight (8) hours of Missouri POST Continuing Law Enforcement Education in the area of Technical Studies and Firearms Skill Development through the Missouri Sheriffs’ Association, a POST approved continuing education provider.

  • Due to the interactive and practical nature of this course, class size is limited to 20 students.

PRE-REQUISITES:

Students must be a certified firearms instructor.  Submit proof of certification to the MSA by Mail/FAX/ or email to Donna Arney at the contract information provided.
