Training will be conducted in the classroom starting on Wednesday May 29th at 8:00am through Friday May 31st at 5:00pm.  Attendees will return home from June 1st to June 5th to work on their 50 minute presentation.  Students will return to the classroom on June 6th & 7th to complete their presentation and perform their 50 minute teaching exercise.

Attendees will be required to develop a source document and lesson plan for their presentation during this course. The topic must relate in some way to law enforcement.

This program is POST approved to meet the requirements necessary for licensing as a POST Generalist Instructor.

Class size is limited to 14.

Students are responsible for all lodging, meals, transportation and presentation expenses.

Students are encouraged to bring with them a laptop (or similar) computer with MSWord and PowerPoint (or similar) presentation software.  Students will be required to prepare a visual presentation using PowerPoint or other similar software to use in conjunction with their 50 minute presentation.
