Fourteen law enforcement officers from the Buchanan County Sheriff’s Department, Buchanan County Conservation Department, and the Missouri State Highway Patrol ate lunch and chatted with East Buchanan Middle School students on Friday, January 26, at EBMS in Easton, Mo.

“This is the second year the school has recognized law enforcement,” said East Buchanan Middle School Principal Dave Elms. “I kind of come up with a lot of crazy ideas and my staff is great at going along with me on most of these and they even will come up with ideas to make them better. With a lot of the negative press regarding law enforcement, we wanted to show our appreciation to those who provide protection to us and our property.”
