Craig W. Wilson, 61, Breckenridge, passed away June 5, 2017, at Mosaic Life Center, St. Joseph.

Visitation is from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, June 8, at the McGilley Antioch Chapel, where funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, June 9.

Burial in White Chapel Cemetery.

Craig was born May 24, 1956, in Kansas City, Missouri, and had lived in Breckenridge since 1995. He was a deputy sheriff with the Clay County Sheriffs office. He served with the Caldwell County Sheriffs Dept, the Hamilton, Missouri Police Dept., and retired from the Gallatin Police Dept.

Craig loved hunting, fishing and helping children. His nickname was Officer Friendly.

Craig was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Joy Wilson.

Survivors include: his wife, Linda; a daughter, Jennifer Jen Wilson; and numerous family members and friends.
