The Missouri State Highway Patrol seized 165 pounds of marijuana during a traffic stop with the help from a local K-9.

Wednesday night a trooper stopped a vehicle along Interstate 29. The Andrew County Sheriff’s Office K-9 unit was requested by the trooper because the traffic violation that occurred in Andrew County.

Andrew County Sheriff’s Office said on its Facebook page that during the course of the traffic stop, the Sheriff’s Office K-9 Rocko was deployed on the vehicle.

A subsequent search of the vehicle resulted in a drug arrest and the seizure of the marijuana located inside.

The traffic stop resulted in an arrest, but Troop H has not released the identity of the person arrested.
