Civil Disturbance Response

This four-hour course introduces local entities to the key elements of the National Response Plan so they can support its implementation within their communities. Justification - Use of Force

This course will discuss when a juvenile may be taken into custody and describes the process for the execution of a capias. The proper procedures for taking a statement from a juvenile will be outlined. The "rights" form used by the Juvenile Court will be examined as to content and use. The procedures requird to fingerprint, photograph, conduct a line-up, or administer polygraph and breathalyzer tests to juveniles are covered.
